· “Start Graph Expression (y=)”: to add “y=” to the expression field (optional). · “Functions (fx)”: to add a common function (e.g., x^2) to the expression. · “Constants”: to add a common constant (for example, e or pi) to the expression. · “Shortcuts”: to review the shortcuts for your mobile device (e.g., “+” is the “AS” key). · “Conversions (CONV)”: to select a conversion function (e.g., feet to meter). · “Reset History”: clears previously entered equations from the screen. · “Email History”: allows you to email previously entered equations to yourself or a friend. · “Share Graph via Email”: provide a destination email address, optional notes, and just select the OK button! This feature can be used to print the graph, incorporate into an assignment or share with a classmate, teacher, or coworker. · “Start Zoom/Scroll”: when activated, clicking on the trackwheel will zoom in or select the ZOOM In/Out buttons on the Storm. If the ALT key is held down, clicking on the trackwheel will zoom out. Scrolling is done by rolling the trackwheel or by moving your finger around the graph on the Storm. To end Zooming and Scrolling, just select the Stop Zoom/Scroll menu item. · “Clear Graph (Clear)”: when the graph area is displayed, allows you to clear previously graphed equations. · “Hide Graph Area (Keypad)”/“Show Graph Area (Graph)”: toggles between displaying and hiding the graph area. · “Show Classic Mode”/”Show Modern Mode”: changes the screen background. · "Show Help": takes you to gWhiz web based help. |
